Leyla Shams is a friendly teacher and, along with her American friends, teaches you conversational Farsi skills in her free podcasts. If you pick up languages mostly by listening rather than seeing, this is a great source for you to check out. For visual learners, it lacks the visual element which can actually be very helpful in retaining and recalling concepts, so visual learners are better off looking elsewhere.

This is an interactive resource for people who enjoy online interfaces. Some of my students use this website as supplementary to our class work. I have heard they have learned a few interesting things by going through the lessons on this website. This is a great source for visual learners, but the downfall is you can only learn up to the intermediate level, and of course, not all the useful expressions and everyday idioms are covered.

One Last Piece of Advice:

Whatever you do to learn Conversational Farsi / Persian,  just try to stay away from language companies which deal with the mass production of language -learning software or DVDs. I have worked for a number of these companies and I know from first-hand experience and observation that their approach to language learning is quite commercial and mostly impractical. They produce many languages following the same template, trying to fit all languages in the same computer program. This means many nuances of the language will be lost in the course of producing texts or exercises. In the case of Farsi, this is even worse, as Farsi / Persian has many nuances, especially on the conversational level.

Long story short, try the sources I named above, and get in touch in case you are interested in learning Conversational Farsi / Persian in an effective and quick manner, instead of wasting your time browsing through many sources online, some of which, in fact, offer erroneous information or advice.
